Controlling module state in AWE Core 8

AppNote AWE 6 AWE 8 Migration Guide p.25 states “AWE Core 8 also provides functions that can control a module’s state (bypass, mute, etc)”
Please can you describe in detail functions and the necessary arguments to control module state in AWE Core 8.
