Reference Integration for STM32H743 / STM32H753

Hello,

Are there any plans to release a reference integration or BSP for the STM32H743I-EVAL or STM32H753I-EVAL?

I am evaluating Audio Weaver on the STM32F746 Discovery and have ran out of processing bandwidth (dropping audio). The STM32H7 series has nearly twice the MIPS as the STM32F7 series so the H7 is an ideal candidate to increase the DSP capacity.

I think it will be possible to modify the reference code for the STM32F746 Discovery to make it compatible with the H743/H753 eval boards since they are all Cortex M7's and use the same codec. However, I think this is going to be a bigger task than what I'm looking to take on at this point, with debugging and optimizations. I am just looking to determine the feasibility of using Audio Weaver on M7 in our application (which requires more horsepower than the STM32F746 can deliver).

Hi,

 

We don't have any BSPs available for the STM32H7 targets at the moment. The libraries included in the STM32F746 BSP should still work for the H7 target, so porting to the H7 starting with the F746 code is possible.

Bumping the thread for a few more details about the H7 BSP.  Is the H7 BSP included under the free ST license model? 

Bonus points: Are the SbBeamFormer , SbKalmanAEC, and MelSpectrumgram modules also included in the free H7 BSP?

Hello Jason,

It's included, but distributed through STMicroelectronics.  Please contact greg.davis@st.com for distribution.

Beamformer and AEC modules are included, but the MelSpec module which is part of our Machine Learning module pack is not.
