The AW Module Users Guide describes the use of the Downwards Expander Core to create an Expander and Gate functionality.
The distribution provide example of an expander, but not for a noise gate.
Can you provide me with an example of how to implement a noise gate?
Thanks,

Hi Yair,
Since a gate is basically a maxed out expander, the "downward expander core" module could be used as a gate by using a very high ratio (for example 20+), or by using the "noise gate core module". Since these modules output a gain value, you would then route the output to one of the inputs to a multiplier module, with the audio signal as the other input. The output of the multiplier would then be your processed signal.
