Calculating Gain Reduction in Dynamic modules

Calculating Gain Reduction in Dynamic modules

All of the Dynamic Modules (AGC Core, Limiter, etc...) provide the "currentGain" value back to the user.

However, some DSP applications for professional audio markets need to present the user the Gain Reduction value (usually on a meter of some kind).

How can I get the value of the Gain Reduction from these dynamic modules, as I do not see any parameters that corresponding to that? (I'm using the AGC Core, Limiter Core, Downward Expander Core, Noise Gate Core, Compressor Core).

Hi Yair,

I've created a simple AWD with a Limiter Core module, subtracting the processed signal from the unprocessed signal and sending to a sink display to show the current gain reduction.
