Hello DSPC,
With certain coefficients, high-frequency noise occurs in the BiquadCascade module. However, when the same coefficients are input into the BiquadCascadeHP module, no noise is generated!
This issue only occurs during Native execution; when running the signal flow on a bare-metal target, the noise issue does not happen. The version of the AWE Designer is also irrelevant.
We have attached the AWD file so that you can check the phenomenon and provide an explanation of this issue.
We conducted a listening test using Madonna’s "skin," but we believe the issue should be reproducible with any well-mastered track that includes enough low-end.

Hello Makotosudou,
The noise floor in the "HP" (High Precision) modules is expected to be lower than the non high precision module equivalents.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin-san,
Then, could you explain why this noise occurs on the native target but not on the bare-metal target?
We believe it is due to a module malfunction.

Makoto
