Dear All,
I'm trying to play a multichannel track through AudioWeaver Designer, however in "Audio Weaver Layout Properties" I'm only able choose a single file to be played, is there any other way I could play a multichannel track off-line?
Many thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe,
In order to play your multichannel track, which I assume consists of multiple audio files with one channel each, you have two options.
1. (Recommended) Combine the multiple single-channel files into a single, multi-channel file by interleaving the channels. Software like MATLAB or Audacity can help with this.
2. Use a DAW (Audacity, etc) that allows you to send different tracks to different hardware audio outputs. Selecting each track to output to a unique virtual audio cable and setting the virtual audio cables as the line input in your AWE Server will allow you to send each individual file to the Audio Weaver input pin.
Both of these solutions will end up with a multiple channel input to the single SYS_in pin your Audio Weaver layout. The individual channels can be broken out using the Deinterleave or Router modules.
Good luck! Please respond if you have more questions.
