When running a layout on VoiceUI Designer (PC) that was originally written on Designer (pro, trial) v6.18.02A, I am hearing clicks and pops when the audio source is the two SYS_in channels (Line Input). File playback is clean using the integral Designer player as Source.
The CPU load is minimal at 0.42%, the heaps have plenty of free space, and I am not using any VoiceUI modules in the layout. Block size is 384. Audio levels average -30dB below full scale.
The audio source is a high resolution (96kHz/24 bit) FLAC file (or a 48kHz/16bit WAV file) playing from VLC, which feeds VB-Audio Virtual Cable, which in turn feeds into Designer.
The same audio with the same audio path (VLC->VBAudio->Designer) is clean in Designer v6.18.02A.
We're using the VoiceUI Designer because there we have VoiceUI components in other layouts, and I assumed we needed to keep all layouts in the same Designer version.
What have I've missed?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Rich,
There seems to have been a problem with the V20180802 custom build, as I was able to reproduce your issue. I created a new custom build with the same module set and the issue is resolved. I will email it to you now. Thanks for your patience!
