We are now integrating the AWE environment on a Linux platform.
Few of the examples included with the Linux distribution provides code (TcpIO2 class) that allows the program to accept connections and commands from the AudioWeaver Server, running on a Windows machine.
Do you have code/API that will allow me to write my own server (actually a client) to run on Linux, with the ability to send commands to the AW engine in order to :
- Load a design (.awd or .awb)
- Get/Set any object property, so we can control the design (e.g change volume, query meter value, etc…)
- Executing AWS scripts?

Hello Yair,
We have an awe_command_line tool that runs in Linux. What you're describing is a need for a custom tuning interface. The tuning interface and command syntax information you'll need are things that would be covered in our Audio Weaver Training. Also, all of this documentation would be provided upon purchase of an Audio Weaver Core Library (which you may have purchased already). Could you please provide more information on what software, or package you have purchased from DSP Concepts?
Thank you,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
My customer is Ambient Noise LLC.
They have licensed AW for Linux (targeting aarch64 and x86_64).
The packages we received did not include any of the tools you describe. For each architecture, we got two libraries (AWELib.a, UtilLib.a), few header files, API documentation, and two small integration examples.
I've been to the training before, but we (my customer) never got any additional information beyond what described above.
If there are additional deliverable we need to receive, I'll appreciate if you could provide it to us.
Best regards,
Yair
