Dear all,
I have connected the EZ ADSP 21479 board to AudioWeaver succesfully. However I was wondering how could I do to make it work in standalone mode. I have followed these steps so far:
- Created an .awd file
- Generated .aws and .awb target files via Tools/Generate Target Files
- On server I’ve gone to Flash Manager and Added .awb file
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Joe

Hi Joe,
To make the .awb load during boot, you must seect the 'Boot file' option for that .awb file when adding it to the Flash Manager.
l
If you have checked this Boot file box and your .awb is still not loading, please comment and we can provide further support.
Thanks

Joe,
Our documentation for integrating Audio Weaver into hardware can be found on our website: https://www.dspconcepts.com/support. The 'Audio Weaver Runtime Core - Integration Guide' will be your best bet.
We update our user guides as we add new functionality or when we find that sections are inadequately documented. If you think something is lacking detail, please let us know so we can improve our documentation.
Thank you

Hi Axel,
Along with the question above I would like to ask if possible the following question:
I'm trying to measure the S/PDIF output from the EZ ADSP 21479 unsuccessfully via S/PDIF input. This might be down to the problem that I'm not specifying it correctly on the input/output stage of the project. Is there a way I could do this?
Many thanks in advance once again for your help.

Hi Joe,
You have to recompile the target with the macro DEFAULT_AUDIO_IO_MODE as "AudioIOMode_SPDIF". Also make sure SW1.1 which is SPDIF out from SHARC and SW7.2 which is SPDIF input to SHARC, should be in ON position.

Hi Joe,
Here are the steps to recompile the target for SPDIF.
-> Open the project "21479_EzKit_RS232.dpj" in VisualDSP++.
-> Open the TargetInfo.h header file from the project Header File tree and comment out the line "#define DEFAULT_AUDIO_IO_MODE AudioIOMode_ADC" and uncomment "//#define DEFAULT_AUDIO_IO_MODE AudioIOMode_SPDIF".
-> Then rebuild the project. Now the loader file is compiled with SPDIF as the Audio IO.
Hope this helps.
