I installed 5.16.B04 Standard on Win 10 pro 64 and it seemed to be working fine for a while (maybe half a dozen sessions), but it began to hang on startup and soon it would always freeze.
I uninstalled and reinstalled only to find that the "File" dropdown is not functional. The other dropdowns seem to work.
Also, there was once an "uninstall" option in the start menu but the new install is missing it.
I've tried to do a clean install a few times and these bugs persist.
Here is the last install log:

Hello,
Your install log looks clean and complete, so no apparent problem there.
Can you provide some more detail on what you mean by 'not functional'? Does the File menu not respond when clicked, or is it grayed out, or are the dropdown items not responsive?
Also, can you try running './awe_designer' from Windows PowerShell and let us know if any errors are printed in the prompt during startup or while using Designer?
Thanks for any more information. We will keep looking into this.

Hello Axel.
The file menu does not respond when clicked. All other controls seem to work OK.
Regarding your instructions for Powershell: Should I be typing the single quotes or not? (sorry for being a noob) Without the quotes, Powershell is telling me the term './awe_designer' is not recognized. With the quotes, it just prints the command again on the next line and nothing else happens. I ran the commands both with and without Audio Weaver running. BTW, the AWD program files are not inside the "Program Files" folder, I don't know if that makes a difference.
One more thing, this version of Audio Weaver was distributed by Danville Signal, and it is not a stock version. I'll bring the issue up with them as well.
Thanks, Tom

Tom,
I apologize, the command I gave you may not run on your computer. I forgot that I have Gnu on Windows tools installed on my machine so I can get away with Linux style commands.
Instead, close any open instance of Designer and please type '.\awe_designer.exe' (no single quotes, and note the backslash) in PowerShell from the directory where you installed Designer (probably C:\DSP Concepts\Audio Weaver 5.16.B04 Standard).
Sorry again. Let me know the results.

Tom,
Can you please zip up the Bin/Assets/Logs folder and send it to me at anilsson@dspconcepts.com. We need to take a closer look at what's going on in your Designer.
Thanks for your patience,
-Axel
