We don't currently include any example layouts that use the ST modules with the STMicro edition of Designer. However, in the <AWE Designer STMicro>\Modules\STMicro\Doc folder, there are User Guide .pdf's with fairly extensive documentation for each module. These User Guides should provide enough information to use the modules effectively.
You are getting this build failure when you try to run your layout because the block size of your input to the STSmartVolume module does not match the allowable block size range set by the module. You can see in the error message that the STSmartVolume module has a block size range of [96 480], which means that the input block size must be between 96 and 480 samples.
You can increase your block size either by changing the input pin directly, or by using a buffer up module.
Is it possible to see MIPS utilization by various modules based in AWE core?. I can only see total cpu utilization but there is no breakdown for different modules.
Per module profiling is not available on the feature limited STMicro edition of Designer. Only the Standard and Pro editions have per module profiling capabilities.
