I am facing an issue where the audio viewer designer is not opening and throws this error,

Timeout = 4000

Error using awe_designer
Error connecting to the Audio Weaver Server. Verify that the Server is connected to the target.
I have checked the same issue in the other forum and aptly disabled the firewall completely in order to ensure there is not issue with contacting the servers over the network. Despite this i see the issue.
I am using a windows 7 64 bit system.

Also, one more additional info. I am running the pro version of awe designer.

Hey Sanjeeth.
Is this the first time you try to launch Designer, or did this start happening after subsequent attempts? What version of MATLAB are you running?
Can you try the following?
1. Run 'awe_init' in MATLAB. This should launch just the AWE_Server.
2. Delete the file <Audio Weaver Install Directory>\Bin\win32-vc100-rel\AWE_Server.ini and try launching Designer again.
3. Restart your computer.
If none of these fix your issue, please respond with any other errors you see.
Thanks

I tried all of the above and I keep getting the following below. I am running MATLAB R2018a and Audio Weaver Designer 6.18.02 Pro on 64-bit Windows 10 Enterprise.

Hey Pablo,
These failures are due to TCP/IP socket timeouts and can be caused by a PC being overloaded with running processes. Though if you've tried to restart your PC already this is not likely the case.
To debug this, can you change the value of 'TCPTimeout' to 1000 in the AWE_Server.ini file in Bin\win32-vc100-rel? Also, can you email me your awelog.txt file in that same folder, at anilsson@dspconcepts.com?
I'll let you know if we find anything in the awelog, or if we have other suggestions.
Thanks
