Hello,
I was investigating a simple design and I came across a discrepancy between the behavior between AWE 5.16 and AWE 7 or 8 for the module TypeConversion. I am attaching 2 screenshots that I ran on a SHARC based hardware.
On the 5.16 version, you can see that the integer goes thru the conversion correctly. For the same design running in AWE 7 or 8, the value after the typeconversion is not right. I poked at it some more and determined that if I force a number high enough thru the type conversion, I might get a number.
This is the AWE 5.16.
This is the AWE 7/8 version.
My best guess is that this has something to do with the SHARC libraries that differ between the two versions. Please advise.
Thank you.

Tried running the above layout on a Griffin SC589 Ezboard and was unable to duplicate your issue. What SHARC processor are you running on and would you post your AWD?
