Hi,
I am in the process of migrating targets from AWE 5 to 6. I am at the point where the platform is good with respect to the tuning and interacts with the framework properly. Now I am having issues in adapting our control modules that we have developed under AWE 5. At first, I recognize that maybe I have to re-compile the DLB (VDSP SHARC library) that accomodates the Danville control modules; I already did this making the library options working on VISA instead of normal word libraries. At this point the Server still does not recognize them so I was working on recompiling also the DLL( compiled via Visual Studio). So I went ahead and downloaded the AWE 6 Pro. I am stuck in that I cannot invoke the awe_generate_module function. As I compared the install to the older versions, there is a missing folder called
module_generation under \\\Audio Weaver 6.17.06 Pro\matlab\.
I also reviewed the doc folder\Audio Weaver Module Developers Guide.pdf to double check if there is an updated API for module generation and if there are new steps but it appears that the sequence to generate modules is still the same in AWE 5. I believe that I have to recompile both on VDSP and Visual Studio for AWE 6 but the steps to do this is not discussed in the AN-01 so I would need help to finish the target migration. In the past, there used to be a developer installation version. In AWE-6 was the intent for Pro version to be also the developer version or is there a different version?
Please advise on the steps that I should take.
Thank you.
