Hello !
I'd like to ask about the Audio Weaver ST Micro Edition.
I've tried the software with an Stm32F4 Discovery board. - and is really really amazing.
I'd like to use it for a standalone Fx application,
but
The whole system supports only two types of audio inputs: the audio input trough the Usb communication, and Onboard mic input on the discovery board.
No external analog audio inputs can be applied, and this is because of the onboard audio codec (CS43L22 DAC), cause it do not have analog audio inputs.
The 12bit Adc inputs allso cannot be used as analog audio inputs. The only solution would be the compatibility to an other audio codec.
Is it possible in the future, to implement some drivers for other high quality audio Codecs in Audio Weaver St Micro edition ??
For example the Wolfson WM8731 audio codec, which is a most commonly used dac with the STM32f4, in audio applications. And it has all the stereo audio inputs , and outputs.
If it would be possible in the future, Audio Weaver could be a god software in my perspective :)

I'm not an expert, but I think that you have to stick to the hardware and drivers?
In other words, you could use the STM32F746 that has analog in, SPDIF In and USB in

I tested my concept on an stm32f4 discovery and i think the stm32f4 has far enough horsepower for the duty,
Stm32f7 would be too much.
I mean the Sm32f4 is often paired with additional audio codecs, not the onboard one.
And i would like to enquire about the future possibility of implementing other audio Codecs into AWE.
Or at least about the possibility of using the 12bit ins and outs for audio duty.
This is because I'd like to use the setup standalone, without computer, and without usb connection. :)

any luck on audio input yet? I guess they want to upsell to the F7 board...
