I'm a little new to this, so please forgive me if I ask newbie questions. How would I make use of the Cloud Nav module? I assume I would need to get an IMU breakout or somesuch. I have the STM32F769i discovery board but I don't think I run these together. Any pointers/help much appreciated!

Hi Richard,
With the Cloud Nav module, you may use an accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer as an input. You can right click the module to view the .html help file. I've also attached an .awd example file to help clarify. This example should work in target mode with your discovery board (EDIT: if your board has the module included in the AWECore library). Hope this helps!

Thanks for this Kyle! When running your example with my discovery board connected I get the attached error. Am I missing something?
Also, I suppose I don't really understand how to connect the hardware of a gyroscope/accelerometer etc to the board. Is there a tutorial somewhere that goes through these steps?

Hi Richard,
Sorry I'm afraid I spoke a bit too soon. The module should work on the board *if your board has the module included in the AWECore library*, which isn't included with our public BSP if that's what you're using. I'd recommend speaking to sales@dspconcepts.com to get a board package that includes Cloud Nav. You can check to see which modules are installed on your board by going to the AWE Server and choosing Target -> List Modules. It looks like the board you're using has input pins to which you could attach sensors, but I don't believe that board comes with IMU sensing built in. I'm not aware of a DSPC tutorial setting up harware sensors with the 769 board, but maybe check the ST documentation for the 769 discovery board inputs and the data sheet for the IMU you might want to use.

Thanks Kyle. I've reached out to the sales email and pinged the contact page as well, but no reply as yet. I'm more than happy to get a board that supports the module, just don't know which one that is!

Hi Richard,
I believe the sales team has reached out to you by now. Please let me know if that's not the case.
