I am running AWE 6.18.02 Pro. My OS is Windows 7. I am using the Matlab 2018B . When I try to change the canvas size. AWE and Matlab locks up. It appears to be waiting for me to close the canvas size dialog box, which I cannot see. When I open the windows task manager I do not see the process for the dialog box until I kill Matlab.
I tried using Matlab 2018A, I get the same problem. I have rebooted, same problem.
This feature was working. I launched SIMULINK in Matlab yesterday, could this have caused the problem?

Hi Darrel! I will spend time today trying to recreate your exact issue. In the meantime, could you try the following...
1. With the invisible canvas dialog open, select AudioWeaver Designer on your taskbar
2. Do alt+space and you should see a menu bar appear. Click move and then hit any of the arrow keys
3. Now if you move your mouse, the canvas dialog (should) move with it back into view.
If you have already tried this, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey,
I'm getting this exact same issue all of a sudden too. I noticed this started happening after I installed 8.B.1.5-Pro.
I uninstalled it and went back to the previous version, and I got the same problem. I uninstalled Matlab and reinstalled it. Same thing.
The only thing I can think of is that I also recently downloaded Visual Studio 2019 and installed the MFC v143 package with it. I know that Designer is using MFC v100 still. Could this be the issue?
I tried your "Alt+Space" trick and it kind of works. I can "maximize" and then I see the dialogue box open. But I cannot move it. It almost seems like the dialogue box opens with a size of 0 pixels.
I literally tried out every dialogue box in Designer. The only two that are affected are the Canvas Size and Help->About AWE Designer.
Do you think you guys can look into this? This bug is pretty critical.
Thanks,

I just checked my system. It seems to depend on what screen AWE is on. For example, I have a laptop with a 24" monitor attached. On the laptop screen the top portion of the dialog box is not available. Using Alt + space bar I am able to move the dialog down so it is all visible. On the 24" screen the dialog appears correctly. I have a second computer running 8.B.1.4-Pro. From the laptop screen the canvas dialog works correct. From the 24" screen I have to click on the designer window type Alt Space and then a small dialog pops up, usually not on the same screen. Click move then down arrow then move your mouse. At this point the dialog box should be moving with your mouse and can be pulled into view.
You are correct, this should be fixed, but I hope this work around helps.

Hi Cole/Darrel,
Thanks reporting this. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the issue on my end after trying a bunch of different versions of Audio Weaver Pro (in particular, the ones mentioned). I've flagged a ticket with our Development Team and noted the observations communicated. Sorry for the inconvenience for the time being. I'll update here when appropriate.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Kevin,
I think I started getting this issue when I moved to a multi-monitor setup where one of the monitor is in portrait mode and the other is in landscape mode.
See the attached file for my monitor setup. Monitor #2 is my primary monitor.
I didn't run into this bug when monitor #3 was in landscape mode but it started happening when I changed it to what you see in the picture.
Thanks

Hey CL,
Thanks for the extra info, I'll add it to the ticket.
Thanks,
